Brunei Intellectual Property Office (BruIPO)
The Brunei Intellectual Property Office (BruIPO) manages and administers intellectual property matters in Brunei Darussalam.
Currently operating within the Attorney-General’s Chambers as the Intellectual Property Division, BruIPO is responsible for the registration and administration of trademarks, patents, industrial designs, and plant varieties. In addition to this core function, BruIPO also undertakes an advisory roles on matters relating to copyright and intellectual property enforcement, providing guidance to government agencies, businesses and the public on the protection and effective utilization of IP rights.

In carrying out its functions, BruIPO works closely with regional and international partners, including World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) and intellectual property offices within the ASEAN region and beyond, to strengthen capacity building and align with international best practices.
